HERSCHEL W. TEEPLES
1933 - 2004
Meeker resident Herschel W. "Pete" Teeples, 71, died Sunday, December 5, in Oklahoma City.
He was born January 20, 1933, in Shawnee to Alvin G. and Mildred Phoebe Goss Teeples.
He served in the U. S. Air Force and worked in construction.
In 1962 he married Betty J. Dashwander in Santa Rosa, California.
His father, daughter, Anita, and sister, LaDawn, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Betty, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Barbara Rowe of Lebanon, Oregon; daughters, Johnnie Joan Baldwin of Gernville, California; and Tammy Teeples of Sand Springs; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Barbara Ann Teeples of Mustang; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Ted Foster of Chelsea; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Meeker.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Meeker with the Rev. Joe Jones officiating.
Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.
Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Meeker is directing arrangements.
