KATHRYN HAZEL TARPLEY
1923 - 2016
Kathryn Hazel England Tarpley was born April 7, 1923 in Clinton, Missouri to Jacob Luther England and Lessie Pearl Dickey.
She passed away February 27, 2016 in Oklahoma City at the age of 92.
Kathryn loved to tell stories and jokes.
She enjoyed eating at her favorite restaurant, Red Lobster.
She cherished the opportunity to receive a card just as much as giving a card to someone she loved.
Kathryn looked forward to her weekly appointment to get her hair done.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Tarpley and sisters, Helen England and Hester Blair.
Survivors include her brothers, Bob England and his wife, Sue of Marble Falls, Texas; Don Henry and his wife, Mary of Georgetown, Texas; sister, Maxine Bliss of Washington State; many nephews, nieces, other family and friends.
A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Davenport with interment following at the Davenport Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
