VESTA SHARLENE STIEBER
1949 - 2016
Vesta Sharlene Sage Stieber was born February 15, 1949 to Ridley Sylvester and Bessie Murl Anderson Sage.She passed away June 21, 2016 at 67 years of age.Sharlene lived her entire life in the Chandler area and attended school in a one room school, Morning Star Elementary for 8 years and later graduated from Chandler High School, class of 1967.She worked in the textile industries and was an Avon representative for 16 years.She became a hairstylist, graduating from beauty school in September 1978, and in May 1979 she became owner of Studio Six Beauty Salon. Sharlene was a hair stylist for over 37 years until her retirement in November 2015.She attended Chandler and Wellston First Assembly of God Churches for over 40 years. She served as a Sunday school teacher for 7 years and as Sunday School Superintendent for 7 more.Sharlene is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Delmer Lee and sister, Cloeta Younger.Survivors include her husband, Robert Stieber; daughters, Robbi and her husband Robert Aucoin and Sharla Robbins; three grandsons, Zachary Rust, Ethan Aucoin and Tylor Robbins; three granddaughters, Kaitlyn Aucoin, Shayla and Brittany Aucoin; sister, Sharon Hulsey and brother, Darrell Sage, both of Chandler, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. June 24, 2016 at the Assembly of God Church in Wellston with interment to follow at the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler.Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
