DAVID GUY STEELE
1955 - 2015

David Guy Steele was born July 12, 1955 in Bassett, Nebraska to Ella Lou Garten and Guy Gordon Steele. He passed away at home December 19, 2015 in Tryon, Oklahoma at the age of 60.
He loved his family more than anything. He was good to his word and expected others to be good to theirs as well. He was fair to a fault always willing to help others.
David lived life to the fullest and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working. You didn’t have to be of blood relation to be family to David. He was a great husband, father and brother.
He was a proud man who will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Kathy Reese Steele of the home; children, Sarah and husband, Scott of Tryon; Tom and Natasha Steele of Cedar Vale, Kansas; two grandchildren, Cailey Merritt and Michael Smith; brothers, Jack and wife, Jana of Chandler and Roger Steele of Adams, North Dakota; nieces and nephews, Jill Bashorun, Joe Steele, Tami Buckholz, Betsy Hart and Matthew Finn; as well as other family and friends.
David’s family will host a memorial service at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
