MARVIN EARL STANFILL
1929 - 2000
Prague native Marvin Earl Stanfill, 71, died Friday, November 2, in Edmond.He was born February 10, 1929, in Prague, the son of Benjamin F. and Gurtrude Southern Stanfill.He married Mildred C. O'Connor in Ada. She preceded him in death in 1982.Marvin served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean and Vietnam wars and retired after many years of service.He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Gurtrude Stanfill and a brother.Survivors include his son, Marty Stanfill of Oklahoma City, a daughter, Susan Real of California, three sisters, Peggy Corbin of Edmond, Micky McKee of Muskogee and Barbara Miller of Sapulpa, five grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, with the Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating.Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Chandler.Published November 5, 2000.
