EUELL LEE SPRAGUE
1927 - 2012
Euell Lee Sprague was born February 26, 1927 in Chandler, Oklahoma and departed this life August 24, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Euell was the son of William “Bill” and Viola Sprague.He was the oldest son followed by one brother, Billy and two sisters, Lawanda and Jerry. After high school Euell was drafted into the Armed Services and served in World War II and the Korean Conflict.On June 7, 1952 Euell married Lois Lorene Hancock. They were blessed with five children, nineteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.He resided in Chandler, Oklahoma with his wife Lois.He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.Euell was a residential electrician. He owned and operated Sprague Electric, wiring homes in the Lincoln County area until his retirement in 2008.He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Viola Sprague; one brother, Billy Eugene Sprague; and one sister, Lawanda Tackett.Survivors include his wife, Lois of the home; four daughters, Leanne Rozell, Paula Laroe, Gena Tinsley and Neva Graves, all of Chandler; one son, David Euell Sprague of Prague; sister, Jerry Nelson of Chandler; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend!The Sprague family would like to invite friends to join them for a reception and visitation at the Chandler First Assembly of God Church Tuesday evening between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.A funeral will be held the following day at 10:00 a.m Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church with interment following at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Chandler.Services are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
