1934 - 2015
June Lee Brown Smith was born June 23, 1934 in Wellston to Travis Lee Brown and Edna Leota Santee.She passed away May 14, 2015 in her Chandler home at the age of 80.June enjoyed solving puzzles, reading books and watching many different soap operas. She collected dolls and crocheted clothing for each one. She spent time working in her garden and Koi Pond where she named each one of her pet Koi. You could often find her camping with her husband, Shorty, where they would enjoy at times three weeks together at the lake on vacation.June was preceded in death by her parents, Travis and Edna; husband, William Wayne “Shorty” Smith; siblings, Evelyn Grandstaff, Conard Brown, Loretta Davis and Patricia Cox.Survivors include her children, Vickie and her husband Jim Pittsley of the home; and Kevin Smith; two grandchildren, Dustin Pittsley of Tulsa; and Dacia Pittsley-Toss and her husband Travis; one great-grandson, Sawyer Pittsley; siblings, Bessie Stidham, Georgia Richey and Phyllis Coleman.A memorial service was held Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
