Cheryl Lynn "Cherry" Linville Smith was born on April 22, 1958, in Hollywood, California, and departed this life on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 56.Cherry, the daughter of Paul and Shirley Bickle Linville, was a resident of Edmond.She married Greg Smith on December 9, 1988, in Oklahoma City.Whether going to her job, or doing home improvement projects, Cherry enjoyed working.Cherry's father and father-in-law, L Wayne Smith preceded her in death.Survivors include her mother, Shirley Linville of Albuquerque, New Mexico; husband, Greg Smith, of the home; sons, Justin Clark of Omaha, Nebraska and Joshua Smith of Edmond; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Dorene Linville of Alamogordo, New Mexico; sisters, Sandra Mathers of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Paulette Linville of Austin, Texas and Pam Morgan of New Carlisle, Ohio; mother-in-law, Louise Flowers of Meeker; aunts and uncles, Tommy and Gracie Bickle of Rincon, New Mexico, Richard Bickle of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico and Ginger and Dave Babb of Bishop, California; many other family and friends.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Meeker with Pastor Joe Jones officiating.Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
