CHESTER EARL SMITH
1926 - 2012


Chester Earl Smith, age 86, of Choctaw, Oklahoma, was born on December 4, 1926, in Paden, Oklahoma. He was the son of Porter E. and Sarah Jane Coleman Smith.
Chester went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 10, 2012 in Choctaw, Oklahoma.
He proudly served in the US Navy and US Army. He retired from Tinker AFB where he was an aircraft mechanic. He drove the school bus, delivered propane and delivered food to senior citizens in Choctaw.
Chester attended Choctaw Church of God for over forty years. He loved working on small engines, bluegrass music and the Lord.
The family would like to thank Hospice Quality Care of Del City and St. Anthony Oncology and Radiology for their wonderful care.
Chester was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Norma, his daughter, Rhonda and daughter-in-law, Teresa.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Randy Smith of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Roger and Jan Smith of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Stephen and Janis Smith of Moore, Oklahoma and Mark and Stacey Smith of Choctaw, Oklahoma, special son, David Lundy of Woodward, Oklahoma, brother, Dan Smith of Prague, Oklahoma, two sisters, Maxine Mansfield of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Idalee Tiger of Hanford, California, twelve grandchildren, Twinkie, Brandy, Nick, Sara, Steve, Jeff, Aaron, Chris, Cindy, Jarrett, Wyatt and Brett, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m, Tuesday, December 11, 2012 and 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Prague Cemetery, Prague, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Smith - Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Oklahoma.
