PAULINE JEWEL SHINGLETON
1925 - 2000


Pauline Jewel Quigley Shingleton, 75, Stillwater, died Saturday, November 18, 2000, in Stillwater.
She was born July 25, 1925, in Buffalo, Missouri, to Carol and Hannah Elizabeth Tucker Quigley.
She married Charles "Max" Shingleton on November 1, 1947, in Bristow. They later moved to Stillwater.
Mrs. Shingleton was a member of the Church of Christ.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Katz Department Store for 30 years.
Her hobbies included reading, sewing and cooking. In addition, she greatly enjoyed the time she spent volunteering at the St. Andrew's thrift shop.
Civic organizations with which she associated included American Business Women's Association and Business and Professional Women.
She was predeceased by both of her parents.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Max; two daughters, Judi Edminson of Oklahoma City and Beverly Beran of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Quentin Quigley of Hudsonville, Michigan; one sister, Maxine Rockwell and her husband, Melvin, of Oklahoma City and four grandchildren.
Services were held at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Richard Poe officiating.
Interment followed in Jamison Cemetery near McLoud. Services under the direction of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.
