CORALIE LENORA SHERMAN
1928 - 1997
Co-owner of Sherman Oil and Gas Company Coralie Lenora Kirkpatrick Sherman, 69, died Saturday in Chandler.Mrs. Sherman, who was also a homemaker, was born August 24, 1928, in Perkins, Oklahoma, to Lawrence Alfred and Pearl F. Moore Kirkpatrick.On June 30, 1949, she married Allen Sherman, who survives her. They had two sons and three daughters.Mrs. Sherman was a member of the Chandler Southern Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a grandchild, Gerald Duane Dan Best.Surviving Mrs. Sherman are her husband, Allen Sherman of Chandler, two sons, Larry Sherman and Bobby Sherman, both of Chandler, three daughters, Shirley Best, Mary Ann Moore and Betty Jo Sprague, all of Chandler, brother, Clifford Kirkpatrick of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, two sisters, Ella Jones and Dorothy Taylor, both of Chandler, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.Services for Mrs. Sherman will be 2:00 p.m. today at the Chandler Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Thom Chappelle officiating.Burial will be at Oak Park Cemetery, Chandler, under the direction of Parks Brothers of Chandler.Published November 18, 1997.
