WILLIAM THOMAS SELBY JR.
1922 - 2012


William Thomas Selby Jr. was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on October 13, 1922 and departed this life on Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years.
William was the son of William and Levenia "Bean" Barnes Selby.
He served in the United States Air Force for over 26 years, retiring at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant.
He married Helen English on June 22, 1946.
William was preceded in death by his parents and his wife in 1998.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-laws, Carl and Kelli Selby of Midwest City, Oklahoma, William and Mary Selby of League, Texas and Steve and KD Selby of Midwest City, Oklahoma, one daughter, Karen Selby of Midwest City, Oklahoma, one brother, Preston Selby of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Stroud, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at the Stroud Cemetery in Stroud, Oklahoma on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Marcy Roberts officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
