LOUIE HENRY SCHMIDT
1920 - 2010


Louie Henry Schmidt was born to Willie and Louise Schmidt on January 29, 1920 in Jasper, Minnesota.
He passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on Sunday September 19, 2010 at his home in Wellston with his family by his side.
Louie was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Schmidt and Louise Speckman; son, Louie Don Schmidt; son-in-law, Jimmie Fisher; brothers David and James Schmidt and sister, Rozina Steffenson.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Audra Schmidt; three daughters, Leona and her husband Bennie Thorpe of Wellston; Stella Fisher of Yukon; Laveda and her husband Bob Butler of Wellston; nephew, Calvin and his wife Lori Musgrove of Dibble; brothers William and his wife Mary Schmidt; sisters Freda Ralstin of Wellston; Velma Lorenz of Wellston; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery, Wellston, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
