GERALD WAYNE SCHMIDT
1953 - 2011


Gerald Wayne Schmidt was born November 4, 1953, in Oklahoma City and died Monday, December 26, 2011, in Oklahoma City at the age of 58 years.
He was the son of William and Mary Holt Schmidt and married Teresa Dale on June 23, 1989 in Chandler.
Gerald worked as a carpenter and attended First Assembly of God Church in Chandler.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa of the home, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Schmidt and Travis and Michelle Schmidt, all of Arcadia, Oklahoma, two daughters and a son-in-law, Amanda Schmidt of Arcadia and Christon and Rafe Cummings of Chandler, three brothers, Jimmie, Larry and Earl Schmidt, all of Wellston, one sister, Helen Best of Wellston, eight grandchildren and other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 30, 2011, at First Assembly of God Church in Chandler with the Rev. Kevin Martin officiating.
Burial followed at Oak Park Cemetery, Chandler, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
