ALICE MARIE SANDERS
1954 - 2010


Alice Marie Sanders was born in Adam County, Mississippi on April 30, 1954 and departed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the age of 56 years.
Alice was the daughter of Dwayne Hawkins and Dorothy Tyson.
She was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma and was a homemaker.
Alice married Ronald Joseph Sanders in Shafter, California on July 7, 1991.
He preceded her in death July 11, 2006.
She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Cole Barrett.
Survivors include her four sons, Randy Benson and wife Crystal of Bakersfield, California; Gilbert Benson of Stroud; Gary Benson of Stroud; Travis Benson of Bakersfield, California; one daughter and son in law, Janet and Robert Barrett of Stroud; her mother, Dorothy Tyson of Stroud; two granddaughters, Dallas and Destiny Benson of Stroud; as well as other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at the Stroud Cemetery on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Burl Mackey officiating.
Service is under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
