WAYNE ROE
1949 - 2012
Wayne "Bud" Roe, a longtime Agra resident, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 in the Hillcrest Hospital-Cushing at the age of 63 years.
The son of the late Gleason Roe and Jeanetta Harper Roe, Bud was born on April 25, 1949 in Blythe, California.
As a young child his family moved to Oklahoma.
He grew up in Agra and in 1974 he married Margie Ruth Salley in Cushing.
Bud enjoyed playing dice, cards and going fishing with his family. He especially enjoyed fishing in his Uncle Jim's farm pond.
Bud spent most of his adult life trading cattle and horses. He will be remembered as a jack of all trades, being a good kind hearted man, and always having a nickname for his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Margie of the home; six children, Ramona Blake and her husband Virgil of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Angela Vaughn and her husband Tony of Cushing; Tony Imry and his wife Mona K. of Cushing; Jozsi Imry and his wife Misty of Agra; Mandy Reedy and her husband Scott of Agra; and Paul Roe of Agra; four brothers, Ronnie Roe of Agra; Gary Roe and his wife Carolyn of Agra; James Roe and his wife Renee of Agra; and Richard Roe and his wife Patty of Agra; one sister, Sharon Reed and her husband Wayne of Agra; eighteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in the First Baptist Church in Agra with Brother Tony Imry and Brother Bud McFarlin officiating.
Burial will follow the Flynn Cemetery, Cushing, Oklahoma.
