PEGGY ANN RODGERS
1948 - 2007


Peggy Ann Stevens Rodgers, age 59, of Cushing, died Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at her home in Cushing.
She was born March 20, 1948, in Agra, to Durward Stevens and Ruby Barton Stevens. Peggy grew up in Agra and Chandler, attending Chandler High School.
Peggy was married to Marshall Rodgers August 6, 1965, in Alturas, California, where they had lived for most of their life moving to Cushing in 1998.
She was a member of the Church of the Firstborn in Cushing.
She enjoyed taking care of her family. Peggy volunteered at school while her children were young. She also worked in a deli for a short time.
Peggy was a seamstress and loved singing with her family and sisters. She enjoyed cooking and traveling.
Survivors include her husband of the home; one son, Cam Rodgers and wife, Jessy, of Tulsa; two daughters, Angi Rodgers and husband, Jim, Caporusso of Reding, California; and Tammy Miller and her husband, Larry, of Colorado; brother, Harold Stevens and wife, Elsa, of Cushing; sisters, Alice Penrod and husband, Don, of Redding, California; Geneva Northrup and husband, Lloyd, of Alturas, California; and Sue McCilester of Klamath Falls, Oregon; grandchildren, Ashley Watashe, Zachary Miller, Amber Miller, Caleb Miller, Cheyenne Miller and one on the way {Evyn Taylor Rodgers}.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Gene Stevens and sisters, Juanita Northrup and Darlene Overacker.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland.
Arrangements are under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
