1917 - 2000
Dorthy L. Anderson Richardson died Thursday in Oklahoma City. She was 83.She was born February 14, 1917, in Stroud.She was the daughter of Stephen and Nettie Tidwell Anderson.She married Willie Franklin Richardson at Cordell on February 20, 1936.They operated a service station and bus station in Chandler for many years.She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Chandler.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Willie Franklin on January 3, 1978, one brother and six sisters.Survivors include two sons, Ronald Richardson of Chandler and W. F. Richardson of Corpus Christi, Texas, one daughter, Wilda Reedy of Agra, one sister, Carmeletta Woods of Anderson, California, eleven grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. today in the Parks Brothers Chapel in Chandler with the Rev. Doyle Seeley officiating.Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Chandler.Published May 27, 2000.
