BOBBY LEE RHOADS
1944 - 2016


Bobby Lee Rhoads was born March 8, 1944 in Guymon to John Rhoads and Ruth Kauffman.
He passed away March 24, 2016 in Oklahoma City at the age of 72.
Bobby grew up in Holly, Colorado until he moved to Hardesty, Oklahoma where he farmed.
He proudly served his country in the United States Reserves for 42 years until he retired.
Bobby enjoyed farming, raising hogs and building grain bins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Johnny Rhoads; sister, Sherlyn Ketcherside; and daughter, Christine Brown.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, PatsySmart Rhoads of the home; daughter, Pam and her husband Irvin McCorkle of Carney; five grandchildren, Timothy, Robert, Heather, Micheal and Brittany; two great-grandchildren, Laressa and Tyler; sisters, Adda Sue Nymeyer, Sally Baker and Roxie Behne and other family and friends.
A graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Carney Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
