RAYMOND LEON REYNOLDS
1925 - 2011


Raymond Leon Reynolds was born on March 28, 1925, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, May 16, 2011, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 86.
Ray, the son of Albert and Lucy Ellison Reynolds, was a long time resident of Prague.
He married Mary Mae Sala on June 30, 1952, in Belton, Texas.
Ray proudly served our country in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. At the time of his retirement, he held the rank of Major.
Following his 20-year career in the military, Ray worked with Traveler's Insurance as a safety engineer.
He was a member of the Western Fraternal Lodge Association {WFLA}.
His parents; two brothers, Elzie and John; sister, Velda and son-in-law, Gary Baker, predeceased Ray.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mary Reynolds of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest A. and Connie Reynolds of Prague, Robert G. and Patti Reynolds of Prague; daughters and son-in-law, Schatzi A. Baker of Meeker, Debbie Reynolds and Stuart Dunlap of Albuquerque, NM, Billie Jo Tanner of Meeker; brother, Merle Reynolds of Prague; grandchildren, Stephanie Goodman and husband, Mike, of Chandler, Shelly Green and husband Will of Yukon, Scott Reynolds and wife Stacey of Meeker, Sara Ross and husband Chase of Prague, Sally Reynolds and fiance Richard Ingro of Meeker, Schatzi Hedge and husband Mike of Meeker, David Tanner of Meeker; great-grandchildren, Mallory and Sarah Goodman, Samuel and Henry Green, Austin, Skyler, and Eli Reynolds, Madison and Ryan Hedge; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The Reynolds family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 18, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.
Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
