Marcy Louise Rasmussen passed away Friday evening, January 9, 2015, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 46 years.The daughter of Kenneth Pence and Wanda Peet Pence, Marcy was born on November 14, 1968 in Lincoln, Nebraska and was raised and educated in Malcum, Nebraska.She was united in marriage to Roy Rasmussen on April 29, 1989 in Lincoln, Nebraska.Marcy had worked for the Chandler Nursing Home for several years prior to having to retire due to health reasons.She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church; she enjoyed cooking, sewing, camping, fishing, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.She is survived by her husband Roy of the home; her parents, Kenneth and Wanda Pence of Malcolm, Nebraska; two sons, Brian and his wife April, and Little Roy and Ashley; a daughter Emily; her grandchildren, Neveah, Eva and Lillyann; a brother Kenny Pence, Jr. and Angela; a sister Tammy Pence; her mother-in-law Madeline Rasmussen; sisters and brothers in-law, Renee Smith and her husband Clayton, Jonathan Melson, Michael Melson, Cody Melson and wife Sheila, Brent Rasmussen and wife Donna; several nieces and nephews, including Kristen, Nathan, Sherry, Aiden, Sande, Brandi, Nick, Jeffrey and Billy, a grandnephew Braxton, and other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Cheryll Armstrong-Kaukis officiating.Burial will follow in the Church Yard Cemetery.
