Violet Frances Pridemore was born on March 10, 1925, in Logan, West Virginia, and departed this life on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, in Prague Oklahoma, at the age of 87.Violet, the daughter of John D. and Rebecca Jude Frances, was a resident of Prague.She married Roman Pridemore on May 9, 1944 in Paintsville, Kentucky.Violet worked in food service at the Prague Hospital and was a member of the Prague Freewill Baptist Church.Her parents, husband and grandson David Francis, preceded Violet in death.Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas R. and Helen Pridemore of Prague, George E. and Vilene Pridemore of Livonia, Michigan, daughters and son-in-law, Patricia Francis of Whittier, California and Betty and Skip Baugh of Whittier, California, cousins, Margarette McLoud and Paul Jude, eight Grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Randall Miller officiating.Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
