1947 - 2015
Rita Faye Jacob Price, age 68 of Oklahoma City, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 in Oklahoma City.She was born February 6, 1947 in Chandler, Oklahoma. She was the youngest child of 21 children.Her parents were Forest Raymond Jacob and Mary Ellen Tapp.Rita grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Putnam City High School in 1965. That same year she married Tony Eugene Price and together they raised one son, Tony Dwane. She lived in Mustang most of her married life.Rita worked in market research and as a private care giver most of her life.She was a longtime member of the Church of the Firstborn.Rita enjoyed crafts, working in her flower garden and was a gifted seamstress. She could sew anything from costumes to wedding dresses.She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, she was a special sister and a dear friend to all who knew her.She was preceded in death by her parents, Forest and Mary Jacob; and sixteen brothers and sisters.She is survived by one son, Tony Dwane Price and wife Tara of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Wilma Spear of Florida and Carolyn Fisher of Blanchard; two brothers, Ralph W. Jacob of Oklahoma City and Paul Kenneth Jacob and wife Ellen of Indiana; one granddaughter, Kayleigh Dawne; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Church of the Firstborn in Newcastle, Oklahoma.Interment will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Parkland Cemetery in Parkland, Oklahoma.Arrangements are with Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle.
