HOWARD MITCHELL POTTER
1930 - 2005
Howard Mitchell Potter, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, resident, was born on February 1, 1930, in Carney, Oklahoma, and departed this life on December 28, 2005, at his home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 75 years.Howard was the son of Roy Nathan and Elsie Lily Kates Potter.He worked as the head custodian at Webster Junior High School in Oklahoma City for many years and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.His parents, two brothers and two sisters preceded Howard in death.Howard is survived by wife, Clara Potter of the home; one son, Howard William Potter of Oklahoma City, three daughters, Catherine Ann Potter, Susan Irene Tetreault and Sarah Gail Buchanan, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 2, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Carney, Oklahoma with Rev. Joe Merrell officiating.Burial will follow at the Carney Cemetery, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler.
