Frances Mae Warden Potter, age 66, Tryon resident passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 in her home in Tryon.Frances was born on December 21, 1944 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma to Jimmy Neal and Hazel Mae Mays Warden.She grew up in the Meeker area and married Leo Potter on July 25, 1964.Frances was a homemaker and also worked for Cushing Regional Hospital for a number of years.She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Meeker, Oklahoma.Frances was preceded in death by her parents and brother Neal Warden.She is survived by her husband of the home, Leo Potter; daughter Julie Scheiper and husband Tony of Tulsa; sons Danny Potter and wife Janet of Agra; Timmy Potter and wife Angie of Drumright; grandchildren, Jenifer Hale of Broken Arrow; Justine Hale of Broken Arrow; Danny Potter Jr. and wife Chelsea of Cushing; Darrell Potter and Dillon Potter of Agra; Ashley Potter, T. J. Potter, and Erica Potter of Drumright; brother Walter Warden of Newalla; sisters Mary Ann Mefferd and husband Charlie of Tryon; Rosie Smith and husband Mike of Yukon; Sue Warden and husband Russell of Shawnee; and Glenna Warden of Yukon.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday June 16, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Tryon with interment following at the White Dove Cemetery in Sparks.Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
