Longtime Carney resident Alma Faye Sidden Perry died Thursday in Shawnee. She was 77.She was born March 14, 1922, in Heber Springs, Arkansas., the daughter of Dallas and Della Desbennett Sidden.She was married to Chris Albert Perry and he preceded her in death February 10, 1985.She was a homemaker.Also preceding her in death were one brother, four sisters and one grandson.Surviving are six sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Kathy Perry, Carney; Don Holton and Brenda Perry, Carney; David Albert and Sandy Perry, Drumright; Darrell Franklin and Gwen Perry, Carney; Dennis Ray and Lisa Perry, Edmond; twenty three grandchildren; thirty four great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Christian Church in Carney with the Rev. Bob Gibbs officiating.Burial will follow at Carney Cemetery under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Chandler.
