1975 - 2007
Eric H. Perkins, a Perkins resident and employee of National Standard in Stillwater, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the age of 31 years.The son of Joanne and Lawrence McFarlin, Eric was born on November 9, 1975 in Houston, Texas.Eric was reared and educated in the Glencoe area, graduating from Glencoe High School.He was united in marriage to Tabitha Gray on March 30, 1996 in Stillwater and had moved to Perkins in 2005.In his spare time, Eric enjoyed fishing and helping anyone that was in need, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family and playing with his kids. Eric will be remembered as a man that loved the Lord and loved serving his Lord.Eric is survived by his wife, Tabitha of the home in Perkins; six children, Joshua, Michel, Nathan, Jessica, Jacen and Rosamary; parents, Lawrence and Joanne McFarlin of Glencoe; one brother, Larry McFarlin of Perkins; four sisters, Tama McFarlin of Morrison; Nicole Rupe of Stillwater; Candice Hartsoe of DeWitt, Arkansas and Heather Focht of Perkins; and other relatives and friends.The family will be greeting friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2007 in the Stillwater Church of the First Born with Brother Hardy Hamm and Brother Jerry Whittman officiating.Burial will follow in the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Oklahoma.Services have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.Memorial contributions may be made to the “Perkins’ Family Fund” care of Stroud Bank, P.O. Box 159, Perkins, Oklahoma 74059.
