WARREN ROGER PARK
1946 - 2016
Warren Roger Park, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born February 21, 1946, in Okemah, Oklahoma, and departed this life peacefully on February 23, 2016, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 70 years.
Roger was the son of Warren and Evelyn Potter Park.
He graduated Chandler High School in 1964.
Roger was very involved in sports and loved to fish and hunt. He was very active in scouts and attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and was awarded the God and Country award. Roger attended college at Oklahoma State University.
He married Alice Fields on November 23, 1977, and they had two children.
Roger spent many years as an insurance underwriter, and loved spending time with his family, and was a very proud grandpa.
Survivors include, one son Justin Park of Chandler; one daughter, Sarah Sharpe of Delta, Utah; two sisters, Marilyn Wheat, and Margaret Park, both of Mountain Home, Arkansas; four grandchildren - Jacob, Chloe, Katelyn, and Noah Sharpe; other relatives and many friends.
A private family service will be held at later date, as well as a luncheon for family and friends.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
The family would like to offer special thanks to all the caregivers, friends, and family that helped during this difficult time.
