Dorothy Alma Harris Bailey Owen was born in Chandler, Oklahoma January 11, 1918 to Meridith Manual and Cara Mae Stanfil Harris.She passed away October 22, 2012 in Chandler, Oklahoma at the age of 94.Alma was a beautician and raised four children.She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Tom Bailey and Harry John Owen; siblings, Norman Harris, Luther "Shorty" Harris and Francis Bolz and her great granddaughter, Macy Miller.She is survived by her four children, Bob and his wife Carolyn Bailey of Carney; Rosetta and her husband Don Hurst of Shawnee; Tom and his wife Pat Bailey of Carney; Kim and her husband Ed Mitchell of Meeker; nineteen grandchildren; forty one great-grandchildren; twenty four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her greatly.Funeral services for Alma will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Carney Assembly of God Church with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
