BILLIE RUTH ORR
1930 - 2016

Billie was born October 21, 1930 to Joseph Tom and Eva Davis Wilson in Micawber, Oklahoma.
She married the love of her life, Hardy Orr March 15, 1950 in Cushing, Oklahoma. They were married 55 years before he went to prepare their place in Heaven in 2006.
Billie devoted her life to the service of others. She worked at Parkland Manor for 36 years, before retiring at the age of 83. She loved her old people and taught her family to dedicate their lives to the elderly and disabled. She received a Governor’s commendation from Mary Fallin upon her retirement for her tireless dedication to others. She missed her job and “he people” the rest of her life.
She was a dedicated member of the Burnett Mission Holiness Church in Paden for well over 50 years.
She raised her children and grandchildren with a deep faith and love, Jesus for her belief that He will carry you through the hard times. It is that belief that sustains us now.
Billie always said her greatest achievement was her family and she leaves them now to carry on her legacy.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Tom Jr. and Lloyd Wilson, sisters, Hazel Willingham, Jane Case and Dorothy Wilson, and her husband, Hardy Orr.
She is survived by her daughters, Diana Walkup of Tecumseh and Darla Orr of Ada; granddaughters, Jamie Walkup of Tecumseh, Amy Walkup of Tuttle and Destiny Smith of Ada; grandson, Haden Sparks of Ada; great grandsons, Jalen Vorise and Ryker Smith; sisters-in-law, Lura Wilson of Okmulgee, Helen White of Stroud and Pauline Orr of Paden; special family members, Tommie and Sue Hinds, in life her special guardian angels, and the countless lives she touched everyday.
Services will be held at Burnett Mission Holiness Church in Paden, Friday, June 10 at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Paden.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service.
Our lives will go on as she would expect, but we will never be the same.
