Mary Lou Beck Odell, lifelong Stroud resident, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at her home at the age of 64 years.The daughter of the late Roscoe Beck and Mary Murray Beck, Mary was born on September 24, 1948 in Stroud.Mary was united in marriage to Joe Odell on November 9, 1988 in Stroud.She attended the Successful Word Church in Warwick.She enjoyed crocheting and fishing.Survivors include her husband of over 24 years, Joe Odell, Sr., of the home; three step-daughters, Kathleen Carney and her husband Roger of Stroud; Christine Vaught and her husband Steve of Stroud; and Amy Martin and her husband Kevin of Cherry Valley, California; step-son, Joe Odell, Jr. of Cushing; seven grandchildren; eleven siblings, Orris Lee Beck of California; Joyce Hollingshead of North Carolina; Virginia Fry of Weatherford; James Lee Beck of Davenport; George Beck of Arkansas; Willie Beck of Arkansas; Betty Neisz of Davenport; Esther Hopkins of Davenport; Richard Beck of Kendrick; Fern Armstrong of Davenport; and Sally Hopper of Choctaw; and many other relatives and friends.No services will be held at this time.
