1905 - 1999
Longtime Prague area resident Joe Nosalek died Saturday in Prague. He was 94.Nosalek was born January 21, 1905, in Czechoslovakia to Karel Nosalek and Anna Vasica Nosalek.He married Alma C. Rodebush on June 12, 1929.He came to the United States as a child and had lived in the Prague and Paden area most of his life. He was a retired farmer and rancher and worked for many years on the Parks Brothers Hereford Ranch in Prague.He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Prague.Survivors include several nieces and nephews including Earl and Helen Nosalek of Branson, Missouri and many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his wife, on October 29, 1982, his parents, one son and two brothers.Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Prague Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Prague, with the Rev. Jim Powell officiating.Published April 4, 1999.
