ROMEYN NINNESS
1934 - 2014


Romeyn Ninness, Davenport, Oklahoma, resident was born on September 12, 1934, in Davenport, and departed this life on April 5, 2014, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 79 years.
Romeyn was the son of Clarence and Hortenese Royer Ninness.
He married Patsy Wakley on April 4, 1959, in Chandler, Oklahoma.
Romeyn was retired from the United States Air Force and worked as a farmer for many years.
His father, one brother, and one sister preceded Romeyn in death.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Patsy of the home; mother, Hortenese Ninness of Chandler; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Michelle Ninness of Edmond, Oklahoma; two daughters, Cheryl Lewis of Davenport, Oklahoma and Kristal Ninness of Davenport, Oklahoma; one brother, Jack Ninness of Enid, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, two great-grandsons, other relatives and many friends.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the First Baptist Church of Davenport, Oklahoma, building fund.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Davenport First Baptist Church, Davenport, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Davenport Cemetery with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler..
