JIMMY LYNN NEWSOM
1961 - 2014


Jimmy Lynn Newsom was born March 23, 1961 in Rockford, Illinois to Clarence and Anna Blades Newsom.
He passed away in Wellston May 24, 2013 at the age of 52.
Jimmy was a huge NASCAR fan.
He worked as a machinist in aviation parts for many years.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his son, Jimmy Newsom Jr. of Wellston; brothers, Terry Newsom of Arkansas; Pete Newsom and his wife Frances of Wellston; sister, Kathy Curran of Texas; and step-father, Ronald Schumacher of Wellston; as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
Jimmy’s family and friends held a private memorial service in his home Saturday, June 1, 2013.
Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
