1938 - 2014
Patsy Ann Newnam, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on July 8, 1938, in Chandler, and departed this life on December 6, 2014, in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 76 years.Patsy was the daughter of William and Iris Maurine Roberts Newnam.She graduated from Oklahoma School for the Deaf in 1959.Patsy worked as a seamstress at Deiner Mills Clothing Manufacturing in Chandler for many years.Her parents, William and Iris Maurine Newnam, one brother and sister-in-law, William and Betty Newnam, and one sister, Daisy McGuire, preceded Patsy in death.Survivors include one brother-in-law, Keith McGuire Jr. of Bailey, Colorado; nieces and nephews, Mark and Kathy Weber of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Don and Shirley Hargis of Clovis, California; and Donnie and Billie Gaylord of Davenport, Oklahoma; Keith McGuire III of Big Spring, Texas; Scott McGuire of Azle, Texas; Todd and Julia Phillips of Ketchikan, Alaska; as well as other relatives and many friends.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Parks Brothers Chapel in Chandler, with Rev. Don Hargis officiating.Burial will follow at New Zion Cemetery in Chandler.Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
