MELVIN W. MYERS
1921 - 2010


Melvin W. Myers, 89, passed away on August 11, 2010 in Oklahoma City Oklahoma.
He was born on July 9, 1921 in Chandler, Oklahoma.
He enjoyed spending time at home with his family and was very passionate about the Sooners.
He is survived by four sons, Daryl Myers of Moore, Oklahoma; Gary Myers and wife, Rhonda of Houston, Texas; Mark Myers and wife, Cheryl of Mustang, Oklahoma and Bruce Myers of Moore, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Kathryn.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at Brookwood Baptist Church, with graveside committal services to follow at 1:30 p.m. at New Zion Cemetery in Chandler, Oklahoma.
