Bernice Edith Belitz Moss, 80, was born September 29, 1930 in Wellston, Oklahoma to Herman F. Belitz and Edith Bolz.She passed away peacefully September 11, 2011 in Oklahoma City with her family at her side.As a child Bernice attended West Captain Creek School and later graduated from Wellston High School.She had a love of the outdoors, animals, and birds with a special interest in cardinals.She enjoyed cooking and crocheting.Bernice was a sales associate in the Edmond Stage Department Store for nearly 20 years.She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ray Belitz.She is survived by her husband, Leon Moss; children, Don Haas and wife Debbie; and Tom Haas and daughter Cathleen, all of Edmond; Lornetta Christy of Oklahoma City; Jerry Moss of Edmond; Kelly Kritchfield of Tulsa; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Belitz of Wellston.Contributions in Bernice's honor may be made to Hospice Quality Care, Inc. 921 South Sooner Road, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73110-2425.Come join Bernice's family as they welcome guests Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 at the Lehman Funeral Home for a visitation.A graveside funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Wellston Cemetery.
