1963 - 2012
Cheryl Denise Morse, age 48 of Cushing, passed away on February 5, 2012 at her home in Cushing.Cheryl was born on August 8, 1963 in Indio, California to Harold Wayne and Leana Mae Peddie Bailey.She grew up and attended school in Atascadero, California.She moved to Cushing in April of 1998. Cheryl attended Meridian Technology Center, receiving her L.P.N. She worked for the Sherwood Manor in Tulsa and recently at Linwood Nursing Home.She was a member of the Lutheran Church.Cheryl loved to fish and crochet. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a very positive and generous about everything in her life.Cheryl is survived by her husband Joe Morse of the home; daughters Sarah Wyke of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Jessica Floro and husband John of Cushing, Oklahoma; Jolene Morse of Cushing, Oklahoma; brothers Jeff Bailey of Yreka, California; Greg Bailey of Templeton, California; sisters Debbie Lauger and husband Ross of Orangevale, California; Kathryn Simmons and husband Dale of Eufaula, Oklahoma; father Harold Peddie, Willow, Alaska; step-father Alvin Earl Bailey of Atascadero, California; grandchildren Rebecca Skinner, Alyssa Skinner and A. J. Floro; and numerous other family members and friends.She was preceded in death by her mother and her sister Cindy Coats.Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 352025 E. 780 Road Cushing, Oklahoma.Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
