DELILAH MAE MOREHEAD
1950 - 2010


Delilah Mae Smith Morehead was born on May 28, 1950, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday, July 18, 2010, at her home in Paden, Oklahoma, at the age of 60.
Delilah, the daughter of Ben J. and Dorothy Bernice "Bobbie" Lee Smith, was a resident of Paden.
She married Terry Lee Morehead on January 30, 1967 in Okemah.
Delilah received as Associate’s Degree in Science from Seminole State College and worked as a newspaper editor with the Sac and Fox Nation.
She was a member of the Prague Freewill Baptist Church.
Her parents; two brothers, Wesley and David Smith; and one sister, Linda Taylor, preceded Delilah in death.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Terry Morehead of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Kaycee Morehead of Prague; daughters and sons-in-law, Terra and Ricky Vass of Paden, Andrea and Greg Robinson of Paden, Jennifer and Jon Wright of Yukon; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Regina Smith of Prague; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Allen Caton of Prague; grandchildren, Colby, Wanda, Kelsi, Tyler, Gabriela, Genna, Riley, Jeffrey, Lucas, Nicklas, Gabby, Dameon, Zach, and Gavin; great-grandchildren, Kelby and two on the way, Paden and Wanda Jean.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Freewill Baptist Church in Paden with Bro. Randall Miller and Bro. David Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow at the Paden Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
