CHARLOTTE M. MOON
1954 - 2011
Charlotte M. Childress Moon, 56, was born September 5, 1954, and died June 16, 2011.She passed away at OU Medical Center after a short illness.Charlotte leaves behind her loving husband of four years, Danny, of the home in Shawnee; two daughters from a previous marriage, Acacia Tohm, of Shawnee; and Faren Tohm, of Oklahoma City; two grandsons, Colton and Ayden {who adore their “OMA”}, of Shawnee; mother, Bertha Childress, of Meeker; sisters, Flora Childress, of Meeker; Debra Brink Childress, of Bethel Acres; and Sherri Lee and husband, Lonny Buchannon, of Sparks; and brothers, Houston and Eldon Childress, of Meeker; and Denver Childress, of Shawnee.Charlotte was preceeded in death by her father, Jesse Houston Childress, and many aunts and uncles.She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and many friends.Charlotte loved being with her family at any time she could and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.There was a memorial service for Charlotte at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2011, at Sunnyside-Pickett Cemetery just north of Meeker.Published June 22, 2011.
