HARRY THOMAS MOAD
1916 - 2003


Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Jerry McCullah of Greenfield First Southern Baptist Church.
Harry was born on December 30, 1916 in Wellston, Oklahoma and was called to the Lord on October 15, 2003 in Sparks, Nevada. He was one of thirteen children.
Harry entered into the Army as an Engineer in 1943 and served state side.
He resided in Bakersfield with his family for 63 years until moving to Nevada in May of 2003. He worked for a number of dairies in the Bakersfield area for over 40 years until he retired at age 65.
He was preceded in death by his son, Sidney Moad and granddaughter, Carol Byrd.
He has left behind his loving wife of 63 years, Daisy Moad of Sparks, Nevada, children, Loriea Byrd and husband Lloyd of Bakersfield, Harry Wendell Moad and wife, Collette of Sparks, Nevada, Linda Phillips and husband Robert of Lancaster, and daughter-in-law, Diana Moad of Bakersfield. He also left behind his sister, Bessie of Kansas; brother, Sidney of Michigan; brother, Hanford of Bakersfield; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. We love you and we will miss you.
