JACKIE MARTIN MITCHELTREE
1937 - 2009
Jackie Martin Mitcheltree was born on March 8, 1937, in Ruddles Mills, Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at his home near Chandler, Oklahoma, at the age of 71 years.He was the son of B. and Elizabeth Berry Mitcheltree.He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war having retired after 20 years of service.Jackie was well known for playing and singing country music all around the Chandler area.He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.Survivors include his wife, Mary Mitcheltree of the home, two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dean Martin and Johnna Mitcheltree of Moore, Oklahoma and James Mitcheltree of Seattle, Washington; one daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Mike Frizzel of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Jake Martin Mitcheltree and Trey Mitcheltree of Moore, Oklahoma as well as other relatives and many friends.Funeral services will be at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2009.Burial will follow at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks, Oklahoma.Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
