DOROTHY M. MESSER
1924 - 2005


Dorothy M. Crail Messer of Davenport, was born February 20, 1924, in Parkland, Oklahoma, and departed this life on July 15, 2005, in Oklahoma City at the age of 81 years.
Dorothy was the daughter of Paul Lester and Lola Leona Greenfield Crail.
She married Raymond Messer on October 11, 1943, in Chandler.
She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church in Davenport and a member of the Good Neighbors Quilt Club.
Her parents, husband Raymond Messer, one daughter, one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
Survivors are one son and daughter-in-law, Junior and Debby Messer of Chandler; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Ray Acord of Chandler and June and Donald Dingman of Kendrick; brother, Troy Crail of Manchaca, Texas; sister, Minnie Peace of Chandler; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, at the First Baptist Church in Davenport, with the Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.
Burial will follow at Parkland Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
