GERALDINE V. BROWN MEADOWS
1933 - 1998
Stroud resident Geraldine V. Jordon Brown Meadows died Monday in Oklahoma City. She was 65.She was born February 14, 1933, in Stroud to William and Josie Fry Jordon.She married Harvey Meadows in Illinois in 1980.Geraldine had lived in Stroud for the last seventeen years and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stroud.Survivors include her husband, Harvey Meadows of the home, sons, Michael and John Catron, both of Stroud, Jordon and Mark Catron, both of Ohio, Harvey and Jeff Meadows, both of Illinois, daughters, Michele Standley, Felicia Arias, Glenda Meadows and Morgan Meadows, all of Stroud, Kathy Middleton and Valorie Hattner, both of Illinois, Debbie Mayes of Idabel, brothers, Frank Jordon of Illinois, Donald Jordon of Washington, Gilbert Jordon of California, sisters, Coleen Odle of Oklahoma, Julia Townsend of Connecticut, twenty seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents.Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Parks Brothers Chapel, Stroud, with Rev. Charles Issler officiating.Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery.Published August 18, 1998.
