MICHAEL LLOYD McLAUGHLIN
1975 - 2011


Ninnekah — Funeral services will be held for Michael Lloyd McLaughlin, 36, of Ninnekah, at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 7, 2011, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel in Chickasha.
Michael Lloyd McLaughlin was born January 3, 1975, in Shawnee to Raymond Junior McLaughlin and Helen Yoder McLaughlin. He died Thursday, June 30, 2011 in Chickasha.
Mikey grew up in the Ninnekah area and attended Ninnekah Public Schools. He worked in construction and enjoyed outdoor activities, especially riding his motorcycles and four wheelers. He loved fishing.
He loved to spend time with his family and friends. He and his girlfriend, Lena Martin, have made a loving home the past 15 years.
Mikey has lived with diabetes since the age of 11.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3000 United Founders Blvd, Suite 108, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73112, http://www.diabetes.org/.
He is preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Yoder; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Anderson; and aunt Linda Morton.
Survivors include girlfriend, Lena Martin; two step-daughters, LaTessa Martin of Chickasha and Samantha Martin of Chickasha; three grandchildren, Maekayla Martin, Brayden Wyant and Chloe Wyant; mother, Helen McLaughlin of Ninnekah; brother, Timmy McLaughlin of Ninnekah; uncle, Lonnie McLaughlin of Shawnee; two aunts, Lillie Rose of Shawnee; and Emma Wilson of Shawnee; and three nephews, Justin, Keldon and Caleb McLaughlin of Chickasha; as well as numerous friends.
Interment will be in the Gable Cemetery in Meeker under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
