Sharon Going McFarlin, 53, passed away on November 15, 2013 in Cushing, Oklahoma.She was born on August 18, 1960 to Lester Lee and Reba Going in Salt Lake City, Utah.She attended C.E. Donart {Stillwater High School} and Highland Park.She was a homemaker.She married her third husband, Steve McFarlin on May 19, 1999 in Stillwater. They resided in Carney, Oklahoma.She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Reba Going; daughter, Laura Purcell and brothers, Jerry and Danny Going.She is survived by her husband of the home; two sons, Nathan Purcell, {Tiffany} of North Carolina; Shane Neely, Houston, Texas; daughter, Amy Neely of Texas; stepsons, Chris McFarlin, Norman; Jess McFarlin, Stillwater; Travis McFarlin, Tulsa; brother, Bob Going, Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Susan Gaskill, Okemah; and many other friends and family.Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, at Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater.Interment will follow at Carney Cemetery in Carney, Oklahoma.Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Condolences may be emailed to the family and an online obituary may be viewed by visiting Strode Funeral Home.
