ANNA BELLE McELYEA
1933 - 2001


Anna Belle Hill McElyea died Friday at her home near Stroud. She was 68.
She was born October 10, 1933 in Seminole, the daughter of Dewey and Mattie Lou Thomas Hill.
She was founder and minister of Harvest Light House Church in Stroud.
On May 25, 1950, she and Bill E. McElyea were wed in Seminole.
Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, two sisters and one son, Billy Jr.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rodger and Lisa McElyea, Stroud; brothers, Shirley Hill of Seminole; and Amos Hill of Fort Myers, Florida; sister, Dorma Lee Allensworth of Seminole; grandchildren, Shelli McElyea of Shawnee; Michael McElyea of Shawnee; Clifton McElyea of Edmond; Whitney Howard of Stroud; and Dylan Howard of Stroud; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, Stroud.
The Rev. Pauline McNutt will officiate.
Burial will be at Stroud Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Stroud.
