Tommy Ray Massey, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born March 29, 1947, in Batesville, Mississippi, and departed this life January 21, 2017, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 69 years.
Tommy was the son of Arthur and Sarah (Flemmons) Massey. He married Diane Helms on June 26, 1970, in Crowder, Mississippi. Tommy served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Hiland Dairy for many years. Tommy was a member of the Chandler Southern Baptist Church, and a member of the Davenport Masonic Lodge.
Tommy was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include, his wife of 46 years, Diane of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Georgia and Kerry Summitt of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Misty and Jon Egelston of Guthrie, Oklahoma, and Amber and Kyle Abernathy of Ozark, Missouri; his mother, Sarah Massey of Batesville, Mississippi; one brother, Bobby Joe Massey of Madison, Mississippi; one sister, Ann Davis, of Arlington, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Alex, Seth, Sydney, Colby, Layne, Blake, Emily; other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, January 27, 2017, at the Chandler Southern Baptist Church, with Rev. Keith Henley officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
