Louie Thomas Lilly, retired farmer, passed away on Tuesday morning, October 23, 2007 in the Rest Haven Nursing Home at the age of 91 years.The son of the late Charles E. Lilly and Melvina Stockwell Lilly, L.T. was born on May 27, 1916, north of Cushing and was reared and educated in this area.He was united in marriage to Emma Reason on September 13, 1933 in Cushing and she preceded him in death on January 19, 1969. He was married to Christina Lewis in February of 1971 and she preceded him in death on October 10, 1997. On October 7, 2002 he was married to Ruby King and she preceded him in death this past Sunday, October 21.L.T. was a member of the Agra Church of the Firstborn.He had farmed all of his life and really enjoyed caring for animals and growing watermelons.Survivors include one son, Tom Lilly and his wife Bonnie of Yale; one daughter Betty Lackey and her husband Bob of Yale; his grandchildren, Amanda Martin, Jim Lackey and Judy Pearce and her husband Scott, all of Yale; four great-grandchildren, Cooper, Robbie, Cameron and Jackie; a niece Adalee Johnson of Cushing; and other relatives and friends.In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by two sons, LeeRoy and Jerry Lilly and twelve brothers and sisters.Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 25, at 2:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home with Brother Donnie Molloy of Agra, officiating.Serving as casket bearers will be Tom Lilly, Bob Lackey, Jim Lackey, Scott Pearce, Wes Bobo, Danny Davis, Jim Roe and Jack Lackey.Burial will follow in the New Zion Cemetery in Cushing.
