1923 - 2010
Doris Marie Mynhier Leonard was born on January 30, 1923, in Boynton, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Saturday, January 9, 2010, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years.Doris, the daughter of Henry "Matt" Madison and Viola Marie Peterson Mynhier, was a resident of Prague.Doris was a graduate of Paden High School and became a homemaker when she married Earl Joseph "E. J." Leonard, Jr. on October 28, 1945. He preceded her in death on July 3, 2004.She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Billie Leonard of Checotah, Oklahoma and Glen Leonard of Eufaula, Oklahoma, daughter and son-in-law, Dorthy and J. D. Badgley of Lampasas, Texas, sister, Nova West of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous friends.A graveside service was held on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Prague Cemetery in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.Arrangements under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.Published January 14, 2010.
